I'm going to approach the joys of the anti fascist and clowning intersection, where do I begin?


Counterculture: Wavy Gravy and The Hog Farm. Ken Kesey and The Merry Pranksters. Abbie Hoffman and the Chicago Seven. Patch Adams and Gesundheit! Institute. And of course, Insane Clown Posse and the Gathering of the Juggalos.


The Jewish Clown Connection: A basic understanding of Judaism in traditional, cultural and humor contexts. My ancestry. Clowns like Marcel Marceau, The Marx Brothers, Sacha Baron Cohen, Charlie Chaplin (whose Judaism is disputed, I don't know this story very well yet), Moshe Cohen, Andy Kaufman, Mel Brooks.


The work to study: Books by Wavy, Kesey, Hoffman and Patch. The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Tests. The movies from the Clowns mentioned and more. Anti fascist literature and history. The historical context of the Fool and Trickster archetypes.
